Audit the Rotary Club Finder Website
Public Relations
Completion Deadline: March 1st
Lead: Pending Assignment
The goal of this project is to audit the Rotary Club Finder tool on rotary.org to ensure all clubs in our district are accurately listed by zip code. This involves searching for each club by zip code, verifying the listed address, and cross-referencing with the club’s correct address in DacDB. If any clubs are missing or have incorrect addresses, the details will need to be compiled and emailed to Rotary International’s IT team for correction.
The Rotary Club Finder on rotary.org serves as an essential tool for prospective members and the public to locate Rotary clubs. However, some clubs do not appear in search results due to incorrect address entries or geolocation issues. This project is crucial to ensure that all clubs in our district are properly listed, helping people find and connect with clubs easily and accurately.
Ensure all Rotary clubs in our district are accurately represented in the Rotary Club Finder on rotary.org, with correct and geolocated addresses.
Team Size: Work independently. Can be split between multiple members.

Create "Is Rotary For You?" Campaign Flier for Clubs
Public Relations
Completion Deadline: March 15th
Lead: Pending Assignment
This project involves developing content for a flier that will be distributed to Rotary clubs to announce the upcoming “Is Rotary For You?” marketing campaign. The campaign will focus on advertising Rotary clubs online to attract visitors and prospective members. The flier will offer clubs helpful tips on how to be inviting to guests, follow up with leads, and respond to inquiries from the Rotary Club Finder. It will also remind clubs to verify and update their online presence, including their websites, social media, DacDB, and Rotary Club Finder listings, to ensure their information is accurate.
To boost visibility and attract prospective members, the “Is Rotary For You?” campaign will encourage individuals to find local clubs through the Rotary Club Finder website. This flier will act as a guide for clubs, providing practical advice on engaging new visitors and following up with potential leads. Clubs will also be reminded to review and update their online presence to be welcoming and easy to find.
Develop a concise, actionable flier that announces the campaign and equips clubs with the tools and knowledge to engage with prospective members and leads effectively.
This will require research for content. Assistance can be provided for design and layout.

Develop "Is Rotary For You?" Marketing Campaign
Marketing
Completion Deadline: April 1st

This project will redevelop the “Is Rotary For You?” marketing campaign for Rotary District 5100, utilizing a $3,000 matching grant from Rotary Zones 26 & 27. The goal is to create a comprehensive marketing initiative that targets prospective members and community members, answering the question, “Is Rotary for you?” and guiding them on how to get involved. The project will include a revamped website, social media advertisements, posts, online videos, prospective member meet-up events, and potentially even radio ads. This campaign is designed to create long-term engagement, but the foundational elements must be established this year.
Rotary District 5100 acquired the domain name isrotaryforyou.com back in 2011, but the campaign has not been fully utilized. With the matching grant, we now have the opportunity to refresh and revitalize this effort, using multiple platforms to reach and engage with potential members. By creating compelling and targeted content, we aim to provide a clear understanding of what Rotary is, how individuals can get involved, and why it might be the right fit for them. This campaign will serve as an ongoing effort to attract new members while reinforcing Rotary’s presence in the community.
Create a comprehensive marketing campaign that includes a new website, social media strategy, online videos, prospective member meet-up events, and radio ads. The campaign should effectively communicate the benefits of joining Rotary and encourage greater involvement in District 5100. The foundation for this campaign must be laid this year, with the long-term strategy to continue developing over the coming years.

Support clubs in enhancing their public image and helping attract new prospective members and engagement. This grant program provides matching funds of up to $500 to help clubs update branding with new logos, themes, or promotional materials. Funds will be matched 50/50 and reimbursed upon submission of receipts.
The District has set aside funds to assist clubs in increasing visibility and engagement. This year’s focus is on helping community members answer, “Is Rotary for You?” and showcasing all the ways they can be part of Rotary. Applications should be digital and include an audit process to measure results. Clubs must submit their graphics or proofs prior to production to ensure they are brand compliant. Members of the Public Image Committee will assist clubs in making sure their designs align with Rotary’s brand standards. Note: Checks will be issued as reimbursement, not in advance.
